Mango Graham Jelly

Ingredients:

For the white layer:

  • 25g gulaman white and unflavored
  • 370ml all purpose cream
  • 300 ml condensed milk
  • 4 cups water sugar (if needed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the mango layer:

  • 25g Mango Gulaman
  • 370ml all purpose cream
  • 300ml condensed milk
  • 4 cup water sugar (if needed)
  • 1 cups diced sweet mangoes
  • lemon yellow food color (optional)

For the Graham Crust:

  • 2 cups grahams, crushed
  • 8-10 tbsp melted butter/margarine

Procedure:

For the Crust:

  1. Combine grahams and butter
  2. Mix well
  3. Transfer grahams into a deep container
  4. Spread it evenly. Lightly press the mixture
  5. Chill for 1 hour

For the Mango Layer:

  1. Combine water and mango gulaman
  2. Mix until gulaman dissolves
  3. Turn the heat on and bring gulaman to a boil. Stir constantly
  4. Add all purpose cream and condensed milk. Continue stirring
  5. Taste and add sugar. Mix well
  6. Add lemon yellow food color. Mix well and turn the heat off
  7. Gently pour the mango layer over the crust
  8. Add diced mangoes
  9. Set aside and let it firm

For the White layer:

  1. Combine water and white gulaman. Mix until gulaman dissolves
  2. Turn the heat on and bring to a boil. Stir constantly
  3. Add all purpose cream and condensed milk
  4. Add sugar if needed
  5. Add vanilla extract and add food color. Mix well
  6. Turn the heat off
  7. Gently pour the white gulaman on top of the mango layer
  8. Let it cool. Cover and chill until cold (overnight)
