Instant Pancit Canton Carbonara

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs pancit canton
  • 1/8 cup noodle water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 packets oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup lucheon meat, diced
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/8 tsp pancit canton seasoning
  • 1 packet soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/8 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tsp spring onions

Procedure:

  1. Cook pancit canton until al dente. Reserve 1/8 cup of noodle water
  2. Dilute cornstarch with noodle water
  3. Preheat cooking oil
  4. Saute garlic, onion and luncheon meat
  5. Add evaporated milk, pancit canton seasoning, soy sauce
  6. Add mushrooms and diluted cornstarch
  7. Add diluted cornstarch and cook until thickened
  8. Mix sauce with the noodles
  9. Add grated cheese and spring onions for toppings
