Chicken Fingers Recipe
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet cut into 2x2in lengths
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 cups cooking oil
- 1/2 cup catsup for dipping
For the Breading:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 pcs eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 cup Japanese breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper then set aside for 30 minutes.
- Prepare 3 containers that will hold the flour, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs separately.
- Start to coat the chicken by dipping it in the flour, then in the egg, and then in the breadcrumbs. Do the same for the remaining chicken.
- Heat the cooking oil in a deep pan.
- Carefully drop the chicken one at a time, and fry until golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes per piece.
- Serve with catsup or dipping sauce of choice.
